Aeeris Teams With Array To Add Automated Hail Protection For Australian Solar Projects

Aeeris says its subsidiary Early Warning Network will supply hail intelligence for Array Technologies’ SmarTrack platform in Australia, which is designed to automatically move solar panels into protective positions ahead of hail. The collaboration is intended to help solar operators manage hail exposure and demonstrate risk controls to insurers and financiers as Australia’s solar capacity has grown from under 350 megawatts in 2017 to more than 13 gigawatts by the end of 2025.
