Arika Resources reported a new gold lode above the historic Champion mine at its Kookynie project, with drilling intersecting 19 metres grading about 8 grams of gold per tonne, including a higher-grade section. The discovery points to further exploration targets along the underexplored Champion-Batavia trend; the company says about 8,500 samples are still awaiting assay results.
