Alara’s Oman Copper Mine Beats Nameplate as Quarterly Sales Set Record
Alara Resources said its Al Wash-hi Majaza mine and concentrator continued to operate above nameplate capacity, while quarterly concentrate sales reached a record, with shipments totalling approximately 15,199 wet metric tonnes. Shipping disruption delayed some revenue inflows, and an appeal over the project is scheduled for a hearing in November 2026. The company also reported that its entitlement offer was oversubscribed, with applications exceeding the amount offered.
