Barkly Rare Earths drilled 71 holes during the September quarter and reported significant rare earth intercepts from 56 of 60 holes assayed by 19 October, compared with results from all 28 holes in its first assay batch. Drilling resumed on 5 October after downtime, with assays being incorporated into a geological model ahead of a planned resource update in the December quarter; a single preliminary test extracted 99% of magnet rare earth oxides, but requires confirmation. The company had approximately A$3 million in cash at quarter-end after exploration spending.
