Orion Equities Seeks Shareholder Approval To Leave ASX
Orion Equities plans to ask shareholders to approve its voluntary ASX delisting at the upcoming AGM, citing low trading liquidity, concentrated ownership and listing costs; it estimates the move could save approximately $41,000 annually. The company says trading turnover was 2% of shares on issue in the year to September, compared with 5% to 9% annually over the preceding four years. The AGM is scheduled for 27 November.
