Polymetals’ Silver Output Slumps After Mine Upgrade Disruption, December Rebound Targeted
Polymetals produced about 230,000 ounces of silver in the September quarter, down from about 396,000 ounces in the previous quarter, after a 10-day ventilation upgrade and the shift to contract mining disrupted operations. The company expects first ore from the high-grade Upper Main Lode in the December quarter and is targeting silver production above 350,000 ounces. It also completed the exchange that secured full ownership of the Endeavor project and extended working capital by approximately US$10 million.
