Star Returns To Quarterly Profit As Sydney And Gold Coast Revenues Grow
The Star Entertainment Group reported quarterly EBITDA of $12 million, a $25 million improvement from a loss a year earlier and a $21 million turnaround from the previous quarter; Sydney and Gold Coast revenue rose 9% from the prior quarter, marking their first combined year-on-year growth since quarterly reporting began. The company said operating free cash flow was positive before one-off items and expects FY27 to be its first year of net operating cash inflows in more than two years, before one-off items. Shares climbed around 17% on the day alongside the updates.
